The installation method of the clip-on wheel balance weight
1)Using the clear cloth or deer skin to clean the inside and outside of the wheel rims after checking the wheel dynamic balance to make sure the surface of the wheel hub have no oil and water .
2)The inspection before installing the clip-on balance weight :
a、There is no crack, pinhole, shrinkage cavity and any other imperfection that could effect the strength .
b、The end of clamping piece have no crack and burr.
3)Find the balance point and install the balance weight on this point of the wheel rim . Then use installing tools (usually the wheel weight pliers) to knock on the top of the balance weight to make sure the hook and body fit the wheel rim completely.
4)
Check whether the balance weight is less crowded after installation. If not, it means we finish the installation successfully.
The decisive factor of whether the clip-on wheel weight can be used
1)
Whether the diameter of steel rim can match the diameter of the wheel weight model completely (whether radian can match ).
2)
The opensize of wheel weight hook on the steel wheel rim is 2.0mm+/-0.2mm;
The opensize of wheel weight hook on the alloy wheel rim is 4.0mm+/-0.2mm; sometimes the special size of 4.5~5.0+/-0.2mm is required.
Salt Spray Coated Test
It is a test for zinc plated and anti-corrosion.
Usually we have 24hours/36hours/72hours etc.
24 hours, 36hours and 72hours are the time point for getting rust.
The time is longer, the anti-corrosion is better and stronger, which is of course more expensive.
